Weekly Parent Email (10/09/20)
This week in Children’s Ministry we will learn how God calls us to glorify Him, and not ourselves, with everything we do (Genesis 11 - The Tower of Babel). If you are unable to attend in-person service this week, you can find the video lesson online anytime on our Kids and Families Resource Page or on Sunday morning on the GPBC's Facebook page at 8 AM.
People chose to give glory to themselves instead of God. They ignored God’s plan, so God confused their language and scattered the people all over the earth. One day, Jesus will gather together all of God’s people – people from every tribe and people who speak all kinds of languages – and we will worship Him together! This week, discuss as a family how you can give glory to God every day!
Just a reminder, we have several exciting family events in October:
- Pumpkin Patch on October 17th from 2-4 PM. Reserve your $4 Corn Maize tickets HERE. Come and fellowship with us and take a free hay ride, visit the petting zoo, and pick out a pumpkin for your family!
- Art Club on Tuesdays from 3-4:30 PM
- Homework Club on Wednesdays from 4:30-6 PM (in addition to help with homework, students will have the opportunity to do hands on learning including science experiments, life skills activities, and games).
l pray your family finds new ways to give God glory in ever aspect of life – work, school, recreation and more – and by giving glory to God, others will be able to see God’s love for them through you! I look forward to seeing you on Sunday!
