My name is Miriam Won. My husband, Jack, and I have been attending GPBC since 2019.
In addition to serving as the Women’s Ministry Director at GPBC, I wear many other hats in life. One of those hats is being a mom to two adult children and a daughter-in-love. They keep me grounded through the questions they ask about God and current world affairs. We laugh a lot, play all kinds of board games, enjoy good food (I have been known to accommodate requests for deep-fried items), and travel well together.
GPBC is a community of Jesus followers who make it easy to be yourself and show up as you are. One of my passions as a follower of Jesus has always been to remind each person I meet that they are of deep worth to God. I count it a privilege, in my role with the Women’s Ministry, to be invited to journey with women across diverse spaces and seasons of life. I love that we can cry together, laugh together, and pray for one another.
