Hi, Teresa here. My husband, Lee and I started to attend GPBC about two months after we were married in 1991, and we’ve been serving in one way or another in the worship ministry for most of that time. When I retired from my “day job” in healthcare in 2025 I started to support the worship team as a Worship Ministry Coordinator, taking care of scheduling and a lot of the behind-the-scenes service preparation.
GPBC is known as a singing church, and when I’m not in the back running slides for the lyrics, I love to join with the full body blending my voice with others in praise, confession, declaration, and celebration. I also love that this church is full of caring and supportive people, and I’ve been privileged to serve for several years as a Stephen Minister where we tangibly demonstrate the love of Jesus by supporting those who are going through a rough time in their lives.
During my new off-hours I look forward to diving back into my artistic passions of working with stained glass and sculpting with clay.
