We will be resuming our class on September 13, as we begin our study with the video series by Dan Kimball entitled, How (NOT) to Read the Bible. Offering context and critical principles of interpretation, Kimball explores five common biblical stumbling blocks---its relationship to science, the violence in Scripture, its treatment of women, strange-sounding commands, and the claim that there is only one way to know God.
