Parent Weekly Email (1/16/22)
I hope your family is doing well and staying healthy! This week in Children’s Ministry we will be in Daniel 3 learning how God protected Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego from the fiery furnace, and how He protects us today! If you are unable to attend in-person service, you can find the video lesson online anytime on our Kids and Families Resource Page, on our Greater Portland Bible Church App or on Sunday morning at 8 AM on the GP Kids Facebook Group page.
Christ Connection this Sunday: God was with Shadrach, Meshack, and Abednego in the fire. Only He could rescue them. God rescues us too, through His Son, Jesus. Only Jesus can save us from our sin. Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross provided the way for us to be rescued from sin and have eternal life.
Also, don’t forget to register your family by this Wednesday for the GPBC FAMILY FUN: Lunch and Games on Sunday, January 23rd from 12-2 PM! We will start off our time together with a family lunch and game time. Kids will then be excused to play games in another room with some of our amazing volunteers, while the parents talk about mental health and our children. Please RSVP HERE so we know who is coming. Kids must be accompanied by their parents/guardian at the event.
