Happy Mother’s Day! We hope your children can join us this summer for Treasure Hunters VBS at GPBC running July 5th-9th from 5:30 PM to 8 PM (dinner will be provided). Register soon as spaces are filling quickly. CLICK HERE to register your kids ages 4 years old through students entering 5th grade for the 2021-22 school year. We hope to see you there as we discover God’s treasures!
This week in Children’s Ministry we will be in Joshua 2 and 4 learning about how God fought for the Israelites to defeat Jericho. If you are unable to attend in-person service, you can find the video lesson online anytime on our Kids and Families Resource Page, on our Greater Portland Bible Church App or on Sunday morning at 8 AM on the GP Kids Facebook Group page.
Christ Connection this Sunday: By faith Rahab believed God would win the battle and she asked the spies to show mercy to her family and keep them safe. When the Israelites attacked Jericho, Rahab and her family received mercy and became part of God’s people. Jesus has won against sin and death. Everyone who trust in Jesus receives mercy and becomes part of God’s family forever.
I pray your family will put their trust in God and follow Him just like the Israelites did! I hope to see you on soon.
