Happy Father's Day to all the amazing, God loving, father's at GPBC and beyond! I hope you have a great time celebrating this Sunday with your family!
This week in Children’s Ministry we will be in 1 Samuel 1-3 learning how God called Hannah’s son to share God’s plan. I love teaching the story of Samuel, it shows kids how God calls them even at a young age! If you are unable to attend in-person service, you can find the video lesson online anytime on our Kids and Families Resource Page, on our Greater Portland Bible Church App or on Sunday morning at 8 AM on the GP Kids Facebook Group page.
Christ Connection this Sunday: Samuel used God’s words to tell the people what God is like. John 1:1 says that Jesus is the Word. Jesus—the Son of God—told the world about God’s plan and showed what God is like.
Just a reminder, our new Children’s Sunday School check-in station is open in the main lobby. Starting on June 27th we will be beginning our Sunday morning experience with kids and adults worshipping together in the main auditorium! After worship, the kids will be excused to their classes. I will send out more information on how this will work later in the month.
