Weekly Parent Email (09/29/20)
I hope your family is doing well with the new school year. We have some fun family activities coming up and wanted to make sure you have them on your calendar:
- Pumpkin Patch – GPBC has reserved a spot at the Pumpkin Patch on Sauvie Island for Saturday, October 17th from 2-4 PM! Bring your lawn chairs and come and relax with us. There are plenty of fun family activities at the pumpkin patch, including an amazing corn maze! Be sure to put this event on your calendar so we can fellowship together at the pumpkin patch!
- Art Club – Over the next four weeks our very own art teacher, Ruth Miller, will lead students (grade 5th through adult) through the beauty of color and lines in a class where art is made simple and exciting! Art Club is on Tuesdays from 3 PM – 4:30 PM starting today (classes run September 29th through October 21st). Reach out to Sally Bland if you are interested in having your kids join us. We hope to see you there!
- Homework Club – Do your kids need help with schoolwork or just need a change of scenery? Join us at Homework Club where we have free tutors available to help. No homework, no problem! Come and enjoy fun skill building activities and games while being with other students! Reach out to Sally Bland if you are interested in having your kids join us. Homework club is open to all students pre-K through high school.
