GP Kids Emails

Thank you to everyone who came to the GPBC Pumpkin Patch event yesterday, it was so much fun hanging out and celebrating fall together! Now that fall has begun, we also have the opportunity to fellowship and serve our community by hosting Family Jam, a Halloween event at GPBC on Sunday, October 31^st from 5:30-7:30 PM. We will have free carnival games, inflatables, glow-in-the-dark mini golf, dinner and snacks, and candy! Want to help? Great, we need donations of individually wrapped candy, chip bags, and water bottles. We are also looking for help running the carnival games. You can sign up to help HERE! We look forward to continuing our fall time fun with your family!

This week in Children’s Ministry we will be in 1 Kings 17 learning how God provides in Miraculous ways as we look at the story of Elijah and the Widow. If you are unable to attend in-person service, you can find the video lesson online anytime on our Kids and Families Resource Page, on our Greater Portland Bible Church App or on Sunday morning at 8 AM on the GP Kids Facebook Group page.

Christ Connection this Sunday: God miraculously provided through Elijah to give food to the widow and life to the widow’s son. Many years later, God miraculously provided through His own Son, Jesus. Jesus is greater than Elijah. In Jesus, God provides salvation and life to everyone who trusts in Him.
