Weekly Parent Email (11/19/21)
I hope your family is doing well! We have a couple of important reminders for your family:
- Community Sunday: Tomorrow, November 21st, is Community Sunday and we are excited to have our preschool and elementary students help lead our congregation as we sing Jesus Loves Me! After baptisms the kids will be asked to come to the stairs in front of the stage to lead us. Please meet at 10 AM in the auditorium tomorrow so we can practice before service. We hope you can join us!
- Operation Christmas Child: Our church is glad to participate in OCC once again this year! Please bring your completed boxes to church tomorrow, November 21st. We will be praying as a community for the kids who will be receiving these gifts. For more information on OCC, please visit our website HERE
- Advent Calendars: The Children’s Ministry team is happy to provide homemade Advent calendars for our kids (preschool – elementary) to celebrate the Christmas season! We are handing them out on Sunday, November 28th so the kids can start using them on December 1st! The Advent calendars will contain a small gift (toy or candy) and a Bible verse for them to read. Please let us know if your child has any allergies so we can plan accordingly. If you are not able to be at church on November 27th, please let us know so we can get the Advent calendar to you via mail or in-person delivery.
