GPBC Families,
I hope your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving! This week is Community Sunday where we will remember and celebrate our amazing God together! Families are encouraged to join the live stream at 11 AM. We hope you can be there!
This week we will also have an online only bonus lesson for your family to enjoy. We will be looking at Genesis 29-31 and learning about how God loves us and has a plan for our lives, just like He had a plan for Jacob’s family. You can find the video lesson online anytime on our Kids and Families Resource Page, on our Greater Portland Bible Church App or on Sunday morning at 8 AM on the GP Kids Facebook Group page.
Nothing could stop God’s plan for the family of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Even though Jacob did not love Leah, God loved her and used her in His plan. Through the family of Jacob and Leah’s son Judah, God would show His love for the world by sending His Son to be the Savior He promised! I pray your family finds encouragement knowing that God has a plan for your family, and nothing can stop Him!
Just a reminder, registration is still open for our GPBC family New Year’s Eve Celebration! We have a fun evening planned with laser tag, glow-in-the-dark mini golf, bingo and more.
