Weekly Parent Email (4/2/21)
This week is Holy Week!! I hope your family has been able to remember and celebrate all that God has done for us through the death and resurrection of Jesus! We have several opportunities this week to celebrate Easter as a community (you can register for services HERE or just show up, everyone is welcome):
- Good Friday Service: Our Good Friday Service will be at 7 PM today. You can join in-person or online. There are no Children’s Ministry programs available for this service.
- Easter Service: We have two services available on Easter Sunday, one at 9 AM and the other at 11 AM (both in-person and online). Preschool and Nursery programs will only be available for the 11 AM service. Elementary students will join their parents in main service. There are no Children’s Ministry programs available at the 9 AM service.
- Easter Egg Hunt: Kids ages 2 years old through 5th grade are invited to join us for a fun Easter Egg Hunt at 10:30 AM. The registration table will be outside the main entrance, check-in opens at 10:15 AM. The egg hunt goes quickly so be sure to be on time!
We have posted a couple of Easter videos online for the kids to enjoy at home. You can find these video lessons (Palm Sunday and Good Friday/Easter) online right now on our Kids and Families Resource Page, on our Greater Portland Bible Church App, and on the GP Kids Facebook Group page. You can also find fun activity pages attached to this email for your kids to engage with the Big God Story.
