A Story to Give Away
You are here for a specific purpose.
God placed you in this exact moment of history. Your life is not random, and it’s not mainly about you. It is about advancing the Kingdom of God.
Your life and story are a unique fingerprint and key to share about the Kingdom. The highs and lows, victories and valleys, have formed a pattern no one else carries. God uses that exact combination to connect you with people no one else can reach. Your experiences become the key that opens doors in their lives.
Your difficulties are not punishment. They are guest passes — opportunities for God’s power to be seen. In John 9, the disciples asked, “whose sin caused the man’s blindness?” Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him.” This is why James 1:2 says to “count it all joy” when trials come. Not because the pain feels good, but because you now understand its purpose: it is temporary, it will heal others, it strengthens your faith, and it helps you find and connect with people walking the same road. Romans 8:28 confirms it: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
Every part of your life is being woven together for Kingdom-good.
God never meant for us to hoard what He gives. The manna in the wilderness fell fresh each day to be gathered and shared. Holding onto blessings, lessons, and comfort without releasing them leaves us spiritually bloated. Like Boaz who let Ruth glean freely from his fields, allowing others to benefit from what God has given us is an act of worship.
It’s easy to hold onto our pain, but when you’re in a trial right now, start taking notes. Write what you feel, what you are learning, and hold onto the confidence that God will keep His promises and bring you through (Isa. 43:2). You don’t have to endure it alone. You can move forward with purpose and hope. This season is training, so you can later encourage someone walking the same path.
You have one main reason for being here: To work in the Father’s family business by:
pointing people to Jesus
helping those who have fallen
encouraging the weary
sharing the hope we have received
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.”

Your whole story is meant to be given away. You were born for such a time as this. Your fingerprint, your key, and your testimony are ready. Share what God is doing in you. Someone else needs to hear exactly what He has done and built through your life.
