Our Babies Need You!

Do you have a heart for young children and babies?  If so, our children ages 0-3 are eager to meet you! The GPBC nursery needs loving volunteers to walk alongside our youngsters on Sunday mornings. If you would like more information, please contact Donna Hardman. We are excited to serve with you!

Elementary & Preschool Help Needed

Are you a computer nerd? Do you like to sew, make crafts, or beautiful artwork? Would you like to walk alongside and make a difference in a child's life? We’ve got immediate needs for volunteers in our children’s ministry in a variety of different roles. Our kids need special people like you now. Sunday morning children's classroom volunteers serve one Sunday a month. We have needs in our nursery and preschool and elementary ministries. We could also use computer support on Sundays. Additionally, if you have time during the week, we have many projects that come up mid-week that we could use a hand with on an as-needed basis. Please reach out to our children’s ministry director, Donna Hardman, right away at or 971-231-4998 to ask questions or to sign up.

Hospitality Teams-

Ushers

Are you good at lending a hand? Being a friendly face? We could really use a few more people like you to help usher on Sunday mornings. Ushers help people to their seats, receive the offering, pass out Bibles and occasionally communion, and answer questions. If you are interested, contact David Pelinka at . Scheduling is entirely up to your availability and frequency with which you desire to serve in this capacity.

Greeters

Are you looking for a place to minister that makes a big difference? Volunteer to work once a month as a greeter at one of the entrances to our building on Sunday mornings. What is required? A smile. A warm word of welcome. A hand extended in friendship. Words and actions that communicate, “We are glad to have you here!” If you are interested, please contact Mindy Shumway or just find Mindy at the entrance to the auditorium on Sundays.

Welcome/Info Desk

Are you friendly and like to meet attenders, whether new or returning? We have a small team of well-informed folks who do that at the Welcome/Info Desk in the GPBC foyer. We are adding to our team. We would like the teams to work in groups of two so that one person is able to escort new people to their destination as they are unfamiliar with the building while is other is able to maintain presence at the counter to help others. We also need substitutes. Contact Laurie Murphy or call 503.244.7924.

Lattés, Anyone?

Espresso Corner is looking for more helpers. Don’t let “fancy” coffee names intimidate you! No experience necessary—we will teach you to pull shots & froth white foamy goodness. Rotation is about once or twice a month. Come join the fun! Contact Nancy Hager,  , or Laura Doud,  .
