On January 4th we started a new series entitled . . . UNOFFENDABLE.

We have spent the last year in studies and books that have reinforced the fact that our culture and world are out of sync with the Christian Worldview. It is easy for us to feel like we just don't fit and that things have changed so much that we no longer recognize the society we live in. As we sort out our own response to those feelings, it is always possible the we come away with mixed feelings. In fact, a very natural response could be to be angry with what we see happening around us. Christians can not only feel angry, but feel very justified in our anger and willing to cling to it as well as defend it as a righteous response. But is that the proper, biblical response?

In Grant Hansen's book, Unoffendable, he investigates the topic of anger and seeks to discern what the Bible has to say about it. Is it the correct response that brings glory to God? I don't know if I can remember a time where people seem to take offense so easily and feel so justified in holding on to it.

We will take six weeks to allow Grant to help stretch our perspective, as he walks us through some of what the Bible has to say about this timely subject. Utilizing six concise video sessions, we will examine and discuss the implications of what we discover. I can promise you some good food for thought as we seek to navigate the beginning of a new year.
